Technology Confidence Scores are determined by what signals Datanyze can actively detect. Most technologies are detected by website signatures while others are detected by Natural Language Processing (a form of AI that is used to determine context and analyze human language). Sometimes Datanyze finds multiple signatures and/or multiple signals across websites which will cause the Technology Confidence Score to increase.
The Technology Confidence Score decreases depending on the age of the signals. If Datanyze hasn't seen a signal recently, the score is lowered. After a year, the technology is dropped completely. Technology scores below 50% are not displayed on the platform at all because we consider these to be low confidence.
The more points of validation Datanyze has and the more recently those points of validation have been seen, the higher the Technology Confidence Score will be.
